The exhibition "The forms of speed" of the "Club Milanese Automotoveicoli d'Epoca" will open on December 1st
To celebrate its 60th birthday in great style, the "Club Milanese Automotoveicoli d'Epoca" has chosen a place of exception, a container of history and innovation, custodian and symbol of culture in the heart of Milan: the largest museum of science and technology in Italy.
It will be in fact the cultural institution dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, with important collections dedicated to land, naval and air transport, to host the exhibition "The forms of speed", a journey through time on board the most beautiful and representative cars and motorcycles, from the beginning of the last century to the present day, to the discovery of the evolution of the concept of aerodynamics.
The exhibition will open its doors to the public on Saturday, December 1, to end precisely on the occasion of CMAE's birthday, February 5, 2019.
The exhibition is dedicated to speed enthusiasts, small dreamers, students and citizens who can admire about twenty of the most fascinating vehicles ever, discovering with their own eyes how the car has changed over the decades and how it will change again in the future.
From the first attempts with the small pioneering Renault Voiturette 3.5 Cv Competition of 1900, through iconic models such as Alfa Romeo RLSS of 1926, the 1935 Nibbio belonged to Count Lurani (founding member of CMAE) or the Tatra of 1939, up to unforgettable units: the Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta of 1950 and the Osca Maserati of 1957.
To "escort" the Classic models will not miss the most desired brands of the two wheels sector: Guzzi, Gilera, Rumi, MV and many others.
On the occasion of the exhibition, the prestigious watchmaking Maison Eberhard and Co. will put its name along that of the CMAE.
With its beautiful and sophisticated creations, Eberhard and Co. has always been synonymous with excellence and innovation, as well as an unmissable presence in the most important international events in the historic vehicle sector, as a Partner and Official TimeKeeper.
